What do you want people to understand? What matters to you? What are you trying to make possible?

Those are questions I enjoy asking. But while building Anchored Strategy, I’ve had to sit with them myself.

When you have your hands in different things, introducing yourself can become a whole assignment. You start editing before you even speak. Which part is relevant here? How much do I explain? How do I connect everything without giving somebody my entire life story?

I care about branding and strategy. I care about education, community, and how people learn to use technology. I also care about what it takes to keep showing up when you’re carrying responsibilities that never make it into your professional bio.

All of that shapes how I work.

And I wanted somewhere to talk about it with a little more room.

A Little More Room to Think

I enjoy a good short post. Sometimes a few sentences say everything that needs to be said.

Other times, I have questions. Or an experience I’m still processing. Or an opinion that needs more explanation than a caption can hold.

This journal gives me somewhere to work through those thoughts and share what I’m learning.

Some entries will be practical: getting clear about your brand, making decisions in your business, or figuring out where AI can actually be useful.

Others may come from a conversation, a community experience, or a moment that made me reconsider how I was approaching something.

I want to leave room for both.

What I Keep Coming Back To

Across the different things I do, I keep coming back to a few questions.

Can people see themselves in what we’re creating?

Are we explaining things in a way they can actually use?

Have we asked what support they need?

Those questions matter when you’re developing a brand. They matter when you’re bringing people together. And they absolutely matter when you’re teaching someone to use AI.

Giving someone access to a tool is a beginning. Helping them understand it, question it, and decide how it fits into their life takes more care.

That’s the kind of work I want Anchored Strategy to do. It’s also the kind of thinking I want to share here.

Building While Learning

There’s a certain pressure that comes with putting your work out publicly. You want the website to be right. The words to be right. You can keep finding one more thing to adjust before you let people see it.

I’ve certainly had plenty to figure out while getting this website together.

But I also want to make space for the perspective I have today, while allowing it to grow as I learn.

I’ll share things I feel strongly about. I’ll ask questions. And when an experience changes my mind, there’s room to write about that, too.

So, welcome to The Journal.

I’m giving my thoughts a little more room here. Maybe something you read will help you make room for yours.
